President, Nancy Quincy
For over 20 years, Nancy Quincy has worked in metro Washington, DC providing strategic program development and public relations consultation to a broad range of nonprofit and profit organizations. She has extensive knowledge of nonprofit organizations that provide direct medical and social services to communities in crisis. Through professional and civic engagements, Quincy brings a unique understanding and experience working with underserved populations. Clients have included the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Romana’s Ways, Business and Professional Women/USA, and the South African Wine & Olive Trading Co. A graduate of Spelman College, Quincy is married and mother of two adult children. |
Chief Medical Officer, Valerie Bowman, MD
Valerie L. Bowman, M.D. is a graduate of Spelman College and Howard University Medical School. She completed her residency in pediatrics at VCU Health Systems/Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Bowman brings over 20 years of pediatric experience; having worked as an emergency room pediatric physician at CJW Medical Center, before owning and operating Kids & Co. Pediatric Healthcare for over 10 years. Currently, Dr. Bowman is employed by Bon Secours Health Systems as a pediatric hospitalist at St. Mary’s Hospital and as the pediatrician for the Neonatal High Risk Clinic. She is a board certified pediatrician and member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Bowman is married and has three sons aged 16, 14, and 6.
